Unique Design

The Dragonscale necklace was partially created with scalemale technique: by overlapping each other the black and silver colored aluminum scales organize into a dragonscale-like pattern, one that lightly rests on the neck similar to chainmaille. Yet the materials used make it much lighter than an actual piece of armor. The chain that holds these scales in place is made of similarly light material, so the end result is an agile and flexible piece of jewelry. In order to make its wear comfortable, a soft, thin leather sheet covers the backside, while you can adjust the necklaces length by hooking the clasps into its 4 cm long chain extender.

Maintenance

All our jewelry are handcraft products, each of them unique. Fort here are no two identical minerals, leather patterns or hammer strikes. The Dragonscale necklace however has only been created once, it is the only piece, the jewelry design itself is unique. What this piece does share with all our selection however is the heart and soul of the craftsman and their careful handiwork.

Make sure that no chemicals come in contact with your jewelry, including creams and perfumes as well. The necklace is meant to be a formal wear. And while you of course wear it as long and as often as you wish, we do encourage due diligence and care. Please don’t do sports and don’t swim while wearing it! Furthermore it is recommended to polish it with a jewelry cloth from time to time, so the chain and the scalemail regain their original shine.
